#   Player College Height Weight 40 time
1. Malcolm Kelly Oklahoma 6'4" 224lbs 4.55

Summary: He’s big, athletic and has great hands. He’s the leader of a weak WR class. Not running at the combine probably didn’t hurt him as I’m sure his speed would not be a big deal. He’ll be a solid NFL possession WR.

2. Limas Sweed Texas 6'4" 216lbs 4.46

Summary: Big with surprisingly solid speed, his hands are the only question mark at this point. The Patriots are already sweating him…if he lands there his fantasy value obviously climbs.

3. Devin Thomas Michigan St. 6'2" 215lbs 4.40

Summary: 6’2” and 215 with a 4.4 forty is no joke! Thomas is climbing up the WR charts. He’s raw but he has the physical skills to be a solid NFL WR.

4. DeSean Jackson Cal 5'10" 169lbs 4.35

Summary:  Talk about dropping stocks…ENRON ring a bell? Yeah Jackson is fast, we all knew that, but he’s so small he’d probably lose a bar fight to Paris Hilton. She could at least throw him way off his route in bump and run coverage. He just doesn’t have the size to play WR1 in the NFL. The NFL DB’s will beat him like teenage meat.

5. Early Doucet LSU 6'0" 210lbs 4.50

Summary: He probably could have helped himself by running at the Combine. If he had blazed a 4.4 he would have shot up to #3. He’ll probably still end up at #3 after his Pro Day. He’s in the mold of former LSU WR Dwayne Bowe. Solid size, great hands and great route runner. Speed is the only question.

6. Eddie Royal VA Tech 5'10" 184lbs 4.39

Summary: Another chart-climber here. He looked so smooth on his breaks, had great hands and blazed a 4.39. He jumped 10 slots thanks to the Combine. He’ll catch on with an NFL team and be a good WR2.

7. James Hardy Indiana 6'5" 217lbs 4.47

Summary: So much for the 6’7” freak label. He’s only 6’5”. The good news is, he ran a 4.47 forty. That’s pretty damn fast for a 6’5” guy. He’s a matchup nightmare regardless and should make a nice over-the-middle/red zone target for some NFL team.

8. Andre Caldwell Florida 6'0" 204lbs 4.37

Summary: This guy can flat out fly. He has good size and ran a 4.37 forty at the Combine. He’s got good hands and runs decent routes. His big knock is his injury history. That and something about Florida WR’s in the NFL just doesn’t seem to work out too well.

9. Mario Manningham Michigan 6'0" 181lbs 4.59

Summary:  Another “All Enron” team member, Manningham’s stock dove at the Combine. If you’re a speed WR and you run a 4.59 forty…you have big problems. There are QB’s that ran faster. I’m sure Manningham will have a better time on his pro day but still, this sent up more red flags than a hot chick with an Adam’s apple. Big Ten Speed has become an oxymoron.

10. Adarius Bowman Oklahoma St. 6'3" 223lbs 4.69

Summary:   He has great size and hands but his speed his horrible. He ran a 4.69 at the Combine. That’s just awful for a WR.

11. Donnie Avery Houston 5'11" 192lbs 4.40

Summary: Giant gainer on the charts with solid workouts and a 4.4 forty. He’s got the speed and routes to make it as a WR3 in the NFL.

12. Earl Bennett Vanderbilt 5'11" 208lbs 4.48

Summary: Decent size and 4.48 speed make this guy an NFL project. He’s raw and has a lot of learning to do with the route-running but he’s got skills.

13. Will Franklin Mizzou 6'0" 214 4.37

Summary:   This guy probably made himself a million bucks at the Combine. He blazed a 4.37. At 6’0” and 214 with nice hands, he’s got a lot of NFL potential.

14. Jordy Nelson Kansas St. 6'3" 217lbs 4.49

Summary: Chart-riser! Nelson could rack the top 10 before April’s draft. He’s got good size and 4.49 speed. He’s a playmaker that is just starting to learn how to play WR. Great developmental guy.

15. Lavelle Hawkins Cal 5'11" 187lbs 4.56

Summary:   Unimpressive Combine in an unimpressive class.

16. Alabama DJ Hall 6'2" 193 4.55

Summary: Good size but very undisciplined route runner and 4.55 speed. The talent is dropping like prom night panties at this point in the charts.

17. Louisville Harry Douglas 5'11" 176 4.49

Summary: Small quick WR who could be a good WR3 in the NFL but doesn’t have the size or strength to be much more.

18. Coastal Carolina Jerome Simpson 6'2" 200 4.43

Summary: Good size and 4.43 speed make him a nice developmental project for some team…he will be one of those WR’s that comes out of nowhere in 3 years.

19. Purdue Dorien Bryant 5'9" 175 4.53

Summary: Running a 4.53 just killed him. He’s only 5’9” and 175. You know what they call WR’s that small and that slow in the NFL? Road kill.

20. Michigan Adrian Arrington 6'3" 203 4.58

Summary: He’s got good size but elected not to run the forty at the Combine. Probably a good call. He’s slower than Manningham and Big Bird can beat Manningham in a race.

21. Kentucky Keenan Burton 6'0" 200 4.43
22. Appl. State Dexter Jackson 5'9" 185 4.37
23. Arkansas Marcus Monk 6'4" 222 4.57
24. Hawaii Davone Bess 5'10" 194 4.69
25. New Mexico Marcus Smith 6'2" 221 4.57
26. Hawaii Ryan Grice-Mullen 5'10" 187 4.46
27. Louisville Mario Urrutia 6'6" 232 4.58
28. Wisconsin Paul Hubbard 6'3" 221 4.46
29. Hawaii Jason Rivers 6'1" 200 4.55
30. Nebraska Maurice Purify 6'3" 224 4.53
