Summary:  Alright....first loss is out of the way and now we can get back to playing football.  The Falcons are back home hosting the Cards and I'm taking the home team.  I'll update you on Julio later in the week....let's hope he's good to go.  Ryan, White and TGonz all for solid games.  LFitz is a must start for the Cards.

Update:

Cards - Nothing for the Cards.

Falcons -Michael Turner is questionable with a groin injury and was limited all week in practice.  The major concern is Julio Jones who did not practice all week.  If you have a decent alternative then I'd use it and bench Jones.  Play it safe....one hit and he could be done.

K Phil Dawson         5 K Dan Bailey         7
D           3 D         1 12

Summary:  Cowboys showed up and took care of business last week against the Eagles.  This week they should continue to roll at home with the Browns in town.  Look for a big dose of TRich but the Cowboys will counter with Romo to Dez, Austin and Witten.  I like the Cowboys at home.

Update:

Cleveland - Everyone on the offense is probable...Cribbs, TRich and even Massaquoi.

Dallas - DeMarco Murray is very doubtful.

WR Randall Cobb     100 1 16 WR Ryan Broyles     50 0 5

K Mason Crosby         7 K Jason Hanson         6
D           6 D           4

Summary:  I don't expect the Lions to win this game but this should be a high scoring game.  The Packers have nobody that can cover Calvin Johnson and the Lions D can't cover your mom.  Expect big games from Nelson, Cobb and Jones for the Packers and you can even give Alex Green a TD against the Lions crap ass D.  Big games for Calvin and Stafford.

Update:

Green Bay - Clay Matthews is out...Woodson and Jennings of course are out...Alex Green is probable.

Lions - Titus Young is probable.  The concern for everyone is Megatron.  We're looking at the same situation as last week with his knee.  He didn't practice all week and I'd be he'll play today.

K Mike Nugent         7 K Ryan Succop         5
D           6 D           3

Summary:  This game won't even be close.  The Bengals are starting to click and KC has been falling apart.  If KC would give Charles 20-25 carries a game they'd stand a better change of winning...sadlly they give Hillis and McCluster carries.  Look for big games from Dalton, AJ Green and BJGE.

Update:

Cincy - WR Andrew Hawkins is questionable with a knee injury, though he was able to participate on limited practice this week.  Good rule of thumb is if you practice you'll probably play.

KC - Dwayne Bowe is good to go this week.

D           4 D           6

Summary:  You know what?  The Jets suck!  BWHAHAHAHHAA!!  The Jeff Fisher coached Rams are getting better and better and they play with more toughness than most teams.  The Jets just get embarrassed and will continue to as the season goes on.  I like the Rams to win this game at home by at least a TD.

Update:

Jets - They're going to run the ball all day I hear....whatever.  I'm so tired of the drama from NY.

Rams - Nothing for the Rams.

K Adam Vinatieri         9 K Stephen Gostkowski         7
D           3 D           5

Summary:  I might like the Colts here.  They're playing inspired football at the moment and have pretty good momentum.  The Pats struggled at home against the Bills....sorry but that should have been a blow out.  The only thing that is stopping me from picking Indy is the fact that the Pats can put up points quickly.  I'll take the Pats but by a very slim margin.

Update:

Indy - TE Coby Fleener still out.  Donald Brown is probable.

Pats - Yeah, so your guess is as good as mine.  Welker, Lloyd, Hernandez and Gronkowski are all questionable and will all probably play but who knows with the Pats.

Summary:   Vick looks to be out and the rookie Nick Foles gets the start.  Buckle up Philly....Vick is done, Reid is going to get fired...and Philly is getting a 2013 makeover!  I like the Redskins at home with RG3 taking control of this game and a solid Alfred Morris day as well.  Both RG3's TD's are rushing.

Update:

Philly - As I thought, Vick is officially out.  Avant is out.

Redskins - Garcon is questionable and was limited in practice...he might just show up and play today.  Keep an eye out.

Summary:  Has anyone seen the Bucs play lately?  Well if you haven't you've missed a transformation from a crappy team to a damn good one!  The Panthers are struggling to find anything resembling a football team right now.  Cam is in his sophomore slump and Steve Smith is pissed he's not getting the ball.  The Panthers are a mess.  Bucs win.

Update:

Tampa - Nothing here...

Panthers - Nothing for the Panthers as well.

Summary:   I really don't have much to say about this one....the Jags can't win.  No chance at all...Schaub, Foster and AJ will rip the Jags end of story.  Don't start any Jags...start all your Texans.

Update:

Jags - Gabbert is probable and looks to get the start.  Sorry Henne.  MJD is still out.

Houston - Owen Daniels was limited in practice this week and is questionable.  I'd guess he will play.

Summary:  Aaaaaand the Saints are back.  Everyone had better look out...they seem to be on a mission.  The Raiders on the other hand continue to pass from behind and rack up some good fantasy numbers.  Sadly, their defense needs a lot of help.  Saints win on the road.

Update:

Saints - Spaced on Ivory...my bad.  There are just to many RB's in New Orleans.  I've updated him for a TD and down graded Thomas.

Raiders - McFadden still out.  Goodson...out.  Marcel Reese in.  Hey-Bey looks very iffy. I've removed his numbers.

D           3 D           8

Summary:  Denver is on a roll!  Even more importantly is Manning is on a roll.  The Chargers come sucking big time.  Rivers is playing poorly, Mathews is just horrible and Gates is the only bright spot.  I like the Broncos to kick some Charger ass in this game.

Update:

Chargers - Mathews is questionable but was able to practice in a limited form this week so expect him to play but maybe not a get a full load.

Denver - Nothing here.

Summary:  Had to change it up....I was picking the Steelers until Big Ben went down.  Now I'm all about the Ravens!  Of course I think it'll be close still.  The Steelers at home without Ben could toughen up.

Update:

Ravens - Ray Rice and Torrey Smith are both probable.

Steelers - Mendenhall is probable.....Big Ben is out...Leftwich gets the start.  Antonio Brown is still out as well.

D           8

Summary:  Tough game to pick...I like the Bears defense but there will be a question mark on Cutler starting since he was concussed.  Alex Smith is also concussed.....look for Kaepernick to get the start for the niners.  If this is based on defense then I'm going to have to go with the Bears.

Update:

Bears - Jay Cutler is out.....Campbell gets the call.

Niners - Kaepernick has taken all the first string snaps this week....Alex Smith did practice but his status is questionable and still up in the air.
