The scoop

QB Curtis Painter Well paint me the color wrong. My profound apologies to Mr. and Mrs. Painter. The kid has some skills, he can throw the deep ball and has some decent weapons at his disposal. I can't imagine they'll hurry Kerry Collins back.

QB Blaine Gabbert Another guy who won't lead you to the fantasy promised land this year, but it's nice to see the youngsters show themselves. Gabbert is definitely worth stashing in dynatasy leagues.

QB Tim Tebow Oh sure, they say they are sticking with Kyle Orton...For now...

RB Darren Sproles As it stands now, he's the best option on the team at the position, without question. Versatile, fast and oddly available in more leagues than I expected.

RB Ryan Torain Well, I can't blame this entirely on Mike Shanahan. Torain missed first two games with a broken hand, and when asked to step in for an injured Tim Hightower, he reminded folks he still has game, rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown. Helu, good bye (had to do it) Go singing in Torain after the bye week.

RB Brandon Jacobs In addition to a nice insurance policy for those with RB Ahmad Bradshaw, Jacobs has been finding his way into the endzone as of late, increasing his allure. He's definitely a guy worth having as a flex or bye week option.

RB Isaac Redman Told ya.

RB Ronnie Brown not much from a production standpoint, but watching the beating McCoy takes week in and week out, be smart and grab Brown now - he will be relevant a lot sooner than later.

RB Steve Slaton I'll go out on a limb here, but I will bet that at some point Slaton is a person of interest right here on the wire. If your league is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea deep, take him – and thank me around Week 11.

RB Stevan Ridley I had to add him AGAIN...I know he was on last week but just in case you decided NOT to take our advice we put him on here again in hopes that it's not too late for you!  This kind of pickup could change your season....

WR Laurent Robinson With the myriad of injuries to the Dallas receivers, the stage is set for someone to step up and deliver. I always though that Robinson has some skills, and this past week he proved it with 116 yards receiving – he was targeted by QB Tony Romo 10 times (as many times as TE Jason Witten).

WR Steve Breaston He finally showed himself this past week against Minnesota with over 90 yards receiving. I hope this is a glimpse of things to come with him lining up opposite Dwayne Bowe, and the Chiefs show but surely coming together.

WR Antonio Brown Not getting the TD's but the targets and total yards are interesting. Worth a flier in deeper leagues, could be a nice find.

WR Preston Parker Pretty impressive the two out of the last three weeks, and with a team so young with a young QB leading the way, it's key to watch who steps up. Parker is doing that.

WR Sydney Rice Yep… Injured, traded, ignored. It's like one of those ASPCA ads with the sad dogs and cats. The guy can play, and who would have thought the quarterback play would be better in Seattle than in Minnesota... Either way, the ex Vikings Jackson and Rice are hooking up quite well. If for some bizarre reason Rice is available, grab him now.

WR Darrius Heyward-Bey Finally returning from injury, Hey-Bey made quite a splash against the Patriots defense with over 100 yards receving. As much as it shocks me, the Raiders are putting together a competitive group of offensive talent. If he can dodge the injury bug is worth consideration.

WR Jordy Nelson Over 91 yards, a touchdown, and a contract extension after the game. Now really complete his day and add him to your fantasy squad.

WR Doug Baldwin Ok, not exactly a household name...But he is getting involved in Seattle and worth keeping an eye on. Keep in mind that WR Mike Williams suffered a concussion, so Baldwin's opportunities will increase...

TE Kevin Boss He was a big target in New York, and now he's making some noise on the left coast for the Raiders. Tights ends are obviously tough to gauge, but Boss could be a nice fill in now that the byes are approaching.

TE Todd Heap It's nice to see the former Raven still has some gas left in the tank. He's building a nice rapport with Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb and is worth grabbing for a bye week plug in.

TE Ben Watson Easily QB Colt McCoy's favorite and most reliable targets. McCoy looked his way 9 times and Watson delivered 48 yards and a touchdown.

TE Clay Harbor Well at least one of the Eagles tight ends is making a ripple offensively. He's no Keith Jackson, but a guy worth keeping an eye on, especially in dynasty formats..
