Bubba tells you to Pick'em Up For Week #7! |

QB Carson Palmer | While a trade with the Bengals for Palmer seems unlikely, if one bringing him to the Raiders were to come to fruition, it would certainly make him an appealing fantasy backup. They say Bengals owner Mike Brown isn't likely to cave, but if the offer is right, talk is cheap. I have a funny suspicion this one gets done. |

QB Christian Ponder | In keeper or dynasty formats, looks like now is the time to pick Ponder up. I think the late great Sam Cooke said it best, "A Change is Gonna Come..." McNabb can ride that Chunky Soup chuck wagon right to the bench. While we wait for the Vikings brass to ponder their decision, the official announcement is set to be made Wednesday. Ponder their decision... Ha. |

QB Matt Moore | I'd have a lot less difficult time selling the new Dolphin's QB to you had his receivers not soaked their hands in QuiKrete before the game. I am not calling the guy Dan Marino incarnate, but the drops were beyond ridiculous. Keep an eye on him next week against Denver, and if he gets some help, he could be an interesting option in larger leagues. |

RB Demarco Murray | Early word is RB Felix Jones may miss 2-4 weeks due to a high ankle sprain suffered against the Patriots. Murray looked pretty solid in relief and is a strong addition as long as Jones status is in question. |

RB Montario Hardesty | Patrick Hillis isn't exactly making the best case for himself on or off the field, so that creaking sound you hear is the door opening for Hardesty to make an impact. QB Colt McCoy seems to be gaining a comfort level behind center, and with it the running game will continue to make strides. |
![]() |
RB Keilland Williams | With Jahvid Best suffering a concussion, he could very well be in doubt in week 6 against the Falcons - look for Williams to work to fill the void with Maurice Morris, with Williams being the more successful of the two. |
![]() |
RB Tashard Choice | Rumor has it he is on the trading block, although the injury to Felix Jones may very likely change that plan. That said, should he wind up in the right situation or make the most of his opportunities, he could be worth stashing away for future consideration. |
![]() |
WR Jabar Gaffney | With a total of 10 targets, one less than TE Fred Davis, he could start to really feel the love from new starting QB John Beck. He is most definitely worth keeping an eye on, especially with WR Santana Moss garnering much of the downfield attention. |
![]() |
WR Devin Hester | One of the games more explosive players as a receiver and on special teams, his inconsistencies overall make him a risky proposition. That said, if you have the room, he is certainly worth the gamble. |
![]() |
WR Jerome Simpson | It is nice to see young QB Andy Dalton's comfort level continue to grow. As he grows, so does the value of his young receiving corps, including Jerome Simpson. Expect some inconsistencies as is the case with most young players, but expect some solid performances along the way as well. |
![]() |
WR Greg Little | With 12 targets, safe to say he's getting the looks from Colt McCoy, that's for sure. Why not take the hint and give him a look yourself. I would imagine he's stashed in most dynasty and keeper leagues, but he should be gaining attention in redraft leagues the year as well. |

WR Derrick Mason | It is not as much based on his performance this past week, but some intangibles that need to be considered. One, the guy was acquired earlier in the week from the Jets and was on the field Sunday. He is a savvy veteran who learned enough of the offense to be a factor, if even in a small way. Realize that if the Texans were that enamored with WR's Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones, they never would have made a play for Mason. Look for him to make his presence felt especially when Andre Johnson returns. One national sports columnist claims that Mason has slowed down. As I see it, the mere presence of Andre Johnson makes everyone around him that much better. I'd lean to giving the veteran Mason the benefit of the doubt over a silly cyber pencil pusher. |

TE Fred Davis | If you missed out on him earlier, or he stuck on the wire to due Chris Cooley's "return", well Cooley gave you a helping hand - by breaking his. Davis is a fantastic add if you need some help at the position. |
![]() |
TE Lance Kendricks | While I understand one week success does not a fantasy gem make, I think we finally saw a glimpse of what Kendricks brings to a table. A definite stash in dynasty and keeper leagues, if you have the room, I have a strange feeling he makes some noise in the second half. |
