QB Carson Palmer | Granted it was against the less than stellar Denver Broncos defensive unit, but numbers are numbers and Palmer put them up this past week. The time off for the bye week certainly served him well, and he more than warrants roster consideration moving forward. With some nice match-ups coming up, he could be a solid late season surprise. |

QB Andy Dalton | A rookie quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals. Say that again? Hey, I would have told you that you were out of your mind if you said he would be a difference maker this soon, for this team, at this position. But the fact is, while fellow rookie QB Cam Newton garners most of the press, Dalton is making a name for himself in his own right. Probably gone in keeper and dynasty formats, Dalton is certainly worth consideration in redraft leagues for sure. |

RB Donald Brown | I'll say it before you do - no Indianapolis Colts running back is overly enticing. But in a situation of one players misfortune ultimately leading to another's success, Delone Carter's fumble led to Brown getting the lion's share of the work and he delivered. Keep an eye on Joseph Addai's status, but if Brown gets another start, he's worth a look see. |

RB Roy Helu | Sure the numbers were there, but I have to admit I am a bit leery suggesting any of the incumbent Redskin running backs. Not only are we dealing with the fantasy enigma that is head coach Mike Shanahan, but the end result was the for Washington - a loss. That in itself doesn't make anyone the clear cut starter, but if you have a roster spot, Helu is certainly worth rolling the dice on. I still think newly acquired RB Tashard Choice makes some waves, but Helu made a case for himself indeed. What do you say, Coach Mike? |

RB DJ Ware | This will be reliant on the future health of RB Ahmad Bradshaw, but if he is to miss some more time, considering the shaky injury history of RB Brandon Jacobs, Ware is definitely someone to consider. There are certainly a myriad of what-if's, but they can make or break a season if you are in the right place at the right time. |

RB Ben Tate | I will preface this by saying that Tate should already be stashed away on the roster of the owner with RB Arian Foster. If not, as you've seen with RB Patrick Hillis and WR Miles Austin, the dreaded hamstring can come back and bite hard at any time, and if Foster is bit again, Tate once again becomes the man. Even with Foster 100% healthy, you saw yesterday what Tate is capable of, so be mindful of that moving forward. |

WR Lavelle Hawkins/ Damian Williams | Ok, so I am not talking the dynamic duo of Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens, but if WR Nate Washington's hip keeps him out any length of time, it will be interesting to see which player steps up and takes advantage of the situation. Washington is not getting any younger, so this could be a nice showcase for who would be running opposite of injured WR Kenny Britt in 2012. Not a bad place to be. |

WR Laurent Robinson | You saw Robinson mentioned here last week, as he was a candidate for solid performances in the #3 receiver spot behind Miles Austin and Dez Bryant. Well, Robinson becomes that much more attractive with Miles Austin re-aggravating his hamstring yesterday against the Seahawks. Monitor Austin's status, but I would be entirely comfortable plugging Robinson in there for the foreseeable future. |

WR David Nelson | Since his injury, Nelson has found himself a bit forgotten in fantasy circles. Well, I would quickly remind yourself, as he is again healthy, plays second fiddle to an attention grabbing #1 WR in Stevie Johnson, and plays in an offense that will put up points. If by chance he is available on your leagues waiver wire, I would highly recommend making a play for Nelson. |

WR Earl Bennett | Jay Cutler to his old pal Bennett - It was awesome to see the Vanderbilt connection alive and well! I remember pushing Bennet a few years ago for that very reason - let's hope the success on Monday night against the Eagles re-ignites these two for the remainder of the season. I definitely liked what I saw, and if that continues, Bennett's fantasy value will be on the rise. |

WR TJ Houshmandezadeh | I mention Housh because of his familiarity with the Raider's new signal caller from their days in Cincinnati. While I don't think he'll carry you to the fantasy promised land, I strongly believe that down the stretch that familiarity will prove valuable, especially in PPR leagues. |

WR Torrey Smith | Sure I read all over the web that Smith is good for at least one deep look from QB Joe Flacco each week. How Smith is the prototypical hit or miss proposition. But I think more of Smith than that. The deep looks are great and if he delivers, it can really boost his fantasy production. But realize that WR Lee Evans doesn't seem close to returning, and Smith gets a nice amount of looks from Flacco as evidenced by is nine targets Sunday night against the Steelers. Lining up across from WR Anquan Boldin, Smith will get his fair share of opportunities. I think he'll be a nice option in the second half and much, much more than he's widely given credit for. |

WR Chad Ochocinco | Ok, am I reaching here? Maybe, but maybe not. The Patriots lack a deep passing game, and as you've seen in recent weeks, opposing defenses seem to be picking up on that. Their predictability on offense is certainly causing them issues, and this could lead to Ochocinco becoming more of a factor in the passing game. If you noticed, he was targeted five times yesterday, and while not hauling in any receptions, I have a feeling this trend might continue. Regardless of losing his way in the Patriots game plan thus far, he has the talent to add a facet that could prove useful. |

TE Anthony Fasano | Congratulations to Dolphins QB Matt Moore, he found his tight end!! Usually a non-factor, Anthony Fasano roared back into fantasy relevancy with a two touchdown performance against the Kanas City Chiefs. Let's hope this trend continues, as the end result was Miami earning their first win of the season in a thrashing of the Chiefs 31-3. |

TE Jacob Tamme | Remember the excitement surrounding Tamme last season when Dallas Clark went down with the wrist injury? Well, the injury is not as serious, and the Colts quarterback is different, but in the wild and wacky world that is the fantasy football tight end, if Clark misses any time this go around, Tamme will get the starting nod at tight end. I know, not as scintillating as last season. |

TE Brent Celek | When he isn't blocking, he catches. Alert the media! I admit that you did see a glimpse of the old Celek at the end of the game. With the Eagles in desperation mode, he was used primarily as a blocker. But it does seem he is again becoming a big part of the passing game as long as the Eagles maintain a nice balance on offense. |
